Starting with some composition, to make sure that the big picture is going to work.
To paint more efficiently I'am working in the same dimensions as my real canvas but in Photoshop.
This lets me work with speed and I can do big changes in a heartbeat.
The black and white is from imagination and the color is from watching some game play wile painting.
